We regularly inform you on our website that you can take great photos and videos with an iPhone camera. However, it is rare that we write about projects created on iPhone from our meadows and groves. But today is completely different in this respect. We will present to you the first feature-length post-apocalyptic film shot on iPhone, which originated in the Czech Republic.

According to director Bohdan Čermák, the film Heart of the Zone was made under amateur conditions in the Karlovy Vary region and is inspired by the Chernobyl disaster. According to him, 90% of the film was shot on iPhone 6, the remaining 10% was then added to last year's iPhone X. The film was then edited in Final Cut on a Mac, so it didn't stray from the Apple track for a moment.

The vast majority of the film was shot on iPhone In 6:

The film has already had its premiere in the cinema in Sokolov, which filled up to 250 excited viewers. Its quality is also proven by the fact that it is nominated among the five best independent films at the Black Tower Film Festival, which is a recognized festival of amateur and independent films.

So, if you are among the fans of this film genre, be sure to watch Srdce Zóny. The picture looks quite interesting and will certainly entertain many of you. Otherwise, at least take a look at what shots can be captured on iPhones and let us know in the comments how satisfied you are with the result. Or at least read the reviews on ČSFD, which also tells a lot about the film.
