Lightroom CC & Lightroom Classic
After the previous introduction of Lightroom at the last Adobe conference MAX, the app has been continuously improved with various features. Although many users have expressed their explicit disagreement with the software, Adobe has decided to double down on bringing new technologies to Lightroom CC and optimizing the performance of Lightroom Classic. In addition, users of the "Photos" app can now use a new migration tool that will transfer all their photos to Lightroom.
Adobe XD
It could be said that this is a tool of the future. Photoshop for iPad & Project Gemini
And it is here, toonečně jsme se dočkali neočekávaného. V roce 2019 se nadále můžeme těšit na Project Gemini, which will perfectly complement Photoshop itself. The goal of the application is to provide the ability to draw and paint, again on all platforms. Unfortunately, Adobe has not yet released sufficient details. However, from what we know so far, it is clear that Gemini will feature a combination of raster and vector graphics.
Ta propast mezi iPady a MacBooky se začíná viditelně zmenšovat. Ubývá úkolů, které není možné vyřešit na iPadu.
To work productively in Photoshop on the iPad - that's something only a masochist can wish for. I can imagine some basic photo editing on the iPad as an emergency solution, but professional graphics... After all, it's not just about the editing itself, but the file system, fast copy/paste, a classic keyboard and mouse, a large monitor, cooperation with other programs...
DusanK: could you please read the article carefully again before you start teaching ours next time? Thanks.
Sice nečekám že to bude opravdu 100% a replacement for Photoshop, but I'll be able to do a lot of things from the couch.
Subscription model for $9,99 (±223 CZK) per month, or as part of the Creative service Cloud is automatically disinterested for me...
Exactly. If it makes a living, then it's understandable, but for someone who has it as a hobby, or someone who uses it non-commercially once in a while, that's enough. I'm generally against subscriptions for software, but unfortunately we live in an era of subscriptions and it's only going to get worse.
It is not automatically acceptable even for the person who lives by it. Especially if you buy Affinity Photo or another alternative on the iPad for the price of one subscription.
I try to look at it from both perspectives and understand that the model may not suit a lot of people. On the other hand, the Lightroom + Photoshop combo is $9.99, which is the equivalent of 5 beers in a pub, which I think is a great deal for what it offers photographers, and at the same time I don't think it's so high that it can't be justified for the keen hobbyist. I don't know what people would have to do for hobbies if they got 250 CZK a month, which is a lot of money...
