Although it is new iOS 12 has been praised by many users and described as an almost perfect system without major bugs, but there are still some minor flaws. One of them was pointed out by developer Jose Rodriguez, who in the latest version iOS 12 discovered a bug that allows you to access the photo gallery on a locked iPhone. This bug affects all iPhonech, so it doesn't matter if you have the old "six" or the latest "XSko". Fortunately, however, using it is quite difficult.
You have become accustomed to the environment. iOS 12 quickly?:
To exploit this bug, you must have the following on the target iPhone call from another phone. Then just reject the call with your own SMS message, activate Siri and turn on VoiceOver with a voice command. Once VoiceOver is turned on, click on the camera icon and at the same time reactivate Siri. After activation, we tap the screen a few times, which will trigger the error itself. Then, all you need to do is move around the screen using classic gestures, which will not display a preview of the photos, but after double-clicking, it will add them to the message, where the photos will become visible. The photos can then be sent to another device using a classic message. You can watch the entire procedure in the video below.
Although the bug is quite annoying and poses a threat to users' privacy to some extent, its exploitation is actually difficult and time-consuming. To protect yourself from this bug, simply disable it in your settings. Siri when the screen is locked. To deactivate, go to Settings -> Touch ID (Face ID) and code lock -> scroll down and under the heading Allow access when locked with switch deactivate SiriThanks to this, you can nip any potential problem in the bud.
If I understand correctly, just keep it turned off Siri, No?
If you had read the whole thing, you wouldn't have to ask such a stupid question.
I think there are a lot of problems there. For example, after charging to 83% and restarting the phone, it jumps to 85%.
Well, that's a really serious problem. You should sell your phone.
Thanks for the response, but unnecessary. Wouldn't it be nice??? No? Maybe next time.
...I turned it off completely Siri and I have peace of mind and better battery life 👍😁 👍😁
Well done, he can't speak Czech anyway :-(
I've always wondered how someone comes up with these mistakes. 😂
me too, and if it wasn't a rather implausible coincidence or divine inspiration, he had to try it by trial and error for quite a long time :D
It really annoys me that my XS has problems with stereo sound, when a restart always helps. It's the same every 2-3 days. A phone for that kind of money and make such shoes there...
Yeah restart does a lot. It's equal to the battery percentage.
And I thought that iphone never needs a restart :-) , you get used to the fact that you pay for the brand and not for the quality. Today it is no longer safety, quality, quantity, but quantity, earnings, safety and then maybe quality. And this applies to all brands of different industries.
Hi, I also have a problem, or rather a shortcoming, which I have noticed since iOS 11 and I wonder if you have it too. If I have the name announcement turned on for incoming calls when using the headphones, then in iOS 11 it didn't work at all. Now in iOS 12 will tell me the name, but only some. It's a mystery to me that a completely simple name, for example "Martin", won't read it to me, but with the surname and diacritics it will read it, if anything, I would expect it to be the other way around. What are your experiences, has anyone ever solved this (somewhere? :-)
Again? It wasn't even on ios10? 🤣
No minialmost at iOS 11th was it and this article was already here somewhere :D
The quality of the website goes down steeply when they recycle old articles :-D :-D
Well, it's more like computers than phones. And we have to realize that they are very complicated. Such mistakes will probably be frequent and the question is what can be done to protect one's privacy today.
It's not so much fun anymore... what do you think?
It is alreadycloud encrypted ??
