New operating system iOS 12 for Apple phones and tablets brought quite a lot of new and interesting features. One of them is the redesigned battery usage display. Now you can easily view several graphs that tell you about your battery's status and activity. Among other things, in the redesigned display you can see the applications that use your battery the most. Thanks to this information, you can turn off certain applications and increase the battery life of your device. So how do you do it?

The procedure in this case is absolutely simple. On our device with the new operating system iOS 12 let's go to the native application Settings. Here after we'll go down below and click the box Battery. Now it is necessary to wait a few seconds until all the information and graphs are loaded. After complete loading is enough go down below, where the list of applications is located. The applications here are listed in descending order from those that drain your battery the most. Next to a certain application, there is always a battery usage expressed in percentage. If you want to see the activity in units of time, just click on the text View activity, located on the right side of the screen above the first application in the list.
Among other things, the redesigned battery display shows additional information. If you go a little higher above the list of applications, you can notice two graphs and time data when the the last charge of the device. The first chart, named “Battery status", will simply show you how long your device has been charging and how the battery has drained throughout the day. The second chart, labeled “Activity“, it will then show you how long the display has been on and off. If you want to view detailed data from only a certain hour of the whole day, it's easy enough click on the graph. After marking a certain hour, the list of applications that used the battery is also updated. At the very top, of course, you can use the switch to choose whether you want to load data from the last 24 hours or from the last 10 days.
The column is also worth paying attention to Battery health, which lets you know how the battery life inside your device is doing. After clicking Battery health, you can see the current level maxminimum battery capacity (the more the better). At the same time, the box below will show whether your device is running on maxminimum performance or if it saves battery and reduces performance.
