Google showed the world several new products yesterday, led by the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL phones. They should attract attention primarily with their camera, which Google says should once again be the best on a smartphone.oneIf these visions were to come true, the new iPhones XS and XS Max would have Max serious competitors with which they would compete for the top spots among camera phones. But what can actually make the Pixel 3 interesting?

Already last year Google Pixel 2 took great photos and iPhone X in the DxOMark test. This year, according to Google, the camera of its new smartphones should be a lot more perfect again. However, it is quite interesting that while competing manufacturers are improving their cameras by adding additional lenses, both Pixel 3 have only a classic single-lens 12,2 MPx camera with an aperture of f/1,8 on their backs. However, this should be able to compete with multi-lens cameras without any problems, especially thanks to artificial intelligence.

Just like last year, this year Google is offering a portrait mode on its Pixel, which will follow the model Applu adjust the background blur. Thanks to the larger sensor inside the camera, the phone should capture great photos even in poor light. Artificial intelligence will ensure perfect colors and HDR. Google itself prepared a comparison of photos taken in poor light conditions at the presentation, when it pitted iPhone XS Max and the Pixel 3. While the photo is very dark on the iPhone, the Pixel 3 handled it perfectly, capturing it almost as if it were taken in daylight. But whether Google can be completely trusted in this regard is up to you.

Focusing has received a rather interesting improvement, which is able to follow the marked object on the Pixel, even if you are in motion. Thanks to this, your photos should be sharp in any situation. It may also be interesting to note that although the Pixel 3's camera only has a digital zoom, zoomed-in photos are still of very high quality. The camera already records certain details when zooming, and after taking the picture, it combines them into the best possible result. Thanks to this, the digital zoom should not limit the user in any way.

Google is trying to prove that the camera really succeeded by entering into a partnership with the very famous photographer Annie Leibovitz. She now uses the Pixel 3 in her work and takes portraits with it  then customers can see on the covers of Conde Nast magazines. In this respect, Google may have taken a little inspiration from Applu, who also managed to push photos from iPhone cameras onto the covers of several highly regarded magazines.

Overall, the Pixel's camera appears to be very good and will certainly rank among the best in the world of camera phones. But we'll have to wait for some Friday for the first sharp tests. He manages to easily overtake him again Apple, or, on the contrary, will they bow before the cameras of this year's iPhones?
