Google showed the world several new products yesterday, led by the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL phones. They should attract attention primarily with their camera, which Google says should once again be the best on a smartphone.oneIf these visions were to come true, the new iPhones XS and XS Max would have Max serious competitors with which they would compete for the top spots among camera phones. But what can actually make the Pixel 3 interesting?

Already last year Google Pixel 2 took great photos and iPhone X in the DxOMark test. This year, according to Google, the camera of its new smartphones should be a lot more perfect again. However, it is quite interesting that while competing manufacturers are improving their cameras by adding additional lenses, both Pixel 3 have only a classic single-lens 12,2 MPx camera with an aperture of f/1,8 on their backs. However, this should be able to compete with multi-lens cameras without any problems, especially thanks to artificial intelligence.
Just like last year, this year Google is offering a portrait mode on its Pixel, which will follow the model Applu adjust the background blur. Thanks to the larger sensor inside the camera, the phone should capture great photos even in poor light. Artificial intelligence will ensure perfect colors and HDR. Google itself prepared a comparison of photos taken in poor light conditions at the presentation, when it pitted iPhone XS Max and the Pixel 3. While the photo is very dark on the iPhone, the Pixel 3 handled it perfectly, capturing it almost as if it were taken in daylight. But whether Google can be completely trusted in this regard is up to you.
Focusing has received a rather interesting improvement, which is able to follow the marked object on the Pixel, even if you are in motion. Thanks to this, your photos should be sharp in any situation. It may also be interesting to note that although the Pixel 3's camera only has a digital zoom, zoomed-in photos are still of very high quality. The camera already records certain details when zooming, and after taking the picture, it combines them into the best possible result. Thanks to this, the digital zoom should not limit the user in any way.
This is what the Pixel 3 looks like live. (Photos from TechRadar):
Google is trying to prove that the camera really succeeded by entering into a partnership with the very famous photographer Annie Leibovitz. She now uses the Pixel 3 in her work and takes portraits with it then customers can see on the covers of Conde Nast magazines. In this respect, Google may have taken a little inspiration from Applu, who also managed to push photos from iPhone cameras onto the covers of several highly regarded magazines.

Overall, the Pixel's camera appears to be very good and will certainly rank among the best in the world of camera phones. But we'll have to wait for some Friday for the first sharp tests. He manages to easily overtake him again Apple, or, on the contrary, will they bow before the cameras of this year's iPhones?
The nonsense presented by Google is disgusting nestIt's a complete manipulation and lie. I've had the XS for a week now and I can't get photos like that even when I take pictures at night, in very low light.
The question is why Apple he did not immediately defend against it or, even better, he did not immediately sue them.
So let it be: photos from the relay test of the Nightsight beta, show that Google did not exaggerate so extreme...

Personally, I'm bothered by how "artificial intelligence" in camera phones has displaced "natural intelligence" in people...🤔 The tons of crap people take pictures of every day and the internet is really breathtaking. Everyone then acts like they're the coolest, hi photographer, and all they had to do was buy it iPhone (H. P20 pro, or other hi-end mobile) and slap your finger on the display in the camera app. 🙄 And if someone is really blind and stupid, and as a result dissatisfied with their creation, then run it through Snapseed to make it worth it. 🙄 I admire photographers who still manage to take photos in a way that makes them stand out from the crowd and produce quality images.👍
Photography is primarily about composition... A person with the best camera can't take a professional photo without knowledge and feeling, even if he wanted to.
It is true. But that quantity is increasing at an incredible rate, unfortunately.
One would think that two such large companies no longer have anything to envy and will forgive these "tricks" on the end user when comparing competing models.
If the photo is taken at night (which I can tell from the lights on the buildings in the background), the Pixel's photo is really off. I have held and used almost all the models that the company has in my hands Apple presented, and what is presented here as a photo of this device was not able to capture this badly by any of them. In addition, as is the custom with Android phones (samsung, lg,...) the photos are unnecessarily overexposed, which is clear evidence here. Then the photos look like they do.

It is so, nestThis is a scam.
you can't take such a dark photo on the XS. Except at night🤣
Only they would focus on the houses in the background.
Just off topic... Am I the only one who, at least according to the photos, thinks the appearance of the Pixel resembles the design of noname phones from China? 🤔 It looks awfully cheap, but I didn't have it in my hand, so I can't judge it objectively. 🤗
Yeah, yeah... I was also thinking that it looks like some kraksna from Wish for 200 CZK including shipping. :D
I agree with the others. Google fest exaggerated that comparison. I believe he can take better photos. Probably not under all circumstances, but it can. But to distort reality with this kind of manipulation...
Even now, the new iPhones do not have the best cameras, since the Huawei p20 pro was rated as the best camera phone. I think the new pixels will easily beat the iPhone and the new one in February Samsung galaxy S10 as always.
Maybe so, but that crazy system...🙄 I had clouds of androids and they were running great until the fanbase on xda developers put together a debugged custom rom. The "irons" are good, but the software is bad.
Exactly! It was only when the XDA developers debugged it that it could (somehow) be used. On Apple me too, a few things s***, but they are mostly just marginal details in SW.
Well, you see, I have similar experiences with ios. I switched to it because I thought I would get rid of minor problems with the system, and it only worked for the first year. After that I had more problems than on androids. System crashing or apps crashing is also a common thing for me. I have iphone 6s and now I had to change the battery 3 times because I had to charge it 3 times a day. It was able to drain in an hour of use and what was worse it turned off even when I had 40% battery. I'm waiting for someone to fully serve and go to something else. Probably samsung or xiaomi. I use my mobile for Facebook internet and some of them say sms. I don't have to be on this one iphone for 1200, even a xiaomi for 200 can handle it. And when I want to spend a lot of money on a mobile phone that can do more than just an ordinary mobile phone, I will buy it samsung galaxy note 9.
Nice nonsense of mine galaxy The S8 runs just as well if not better than my other one iphone SEAnd when I get an update every month, nothing bothers me, the program works just as fast.
There is a difference between having an Android for 4 liters and having an Android for 18 liters ..
To each his own. 🤗 I ended up with Android on SGS 7 and it was really enough. 👍 I didn't have the latest models, so I can't blame them. I gradually migrated to the entire ecosystem from Applu and I don't regret it. I was also losing my temper with Win 10. So now I'm satisfied. It's true that it costs a fortune. In the days when I was looking for a solution from Applu couldn't afford it financially I was on android and win and I lived. 👍 Now I see it as paying for a life without XDA Developers, registry editor, blue death, etc. I'm just paying for peace of mind. 😂
That photo from MaxIt's definitely not 😂
That photo from MaxIt's definitely not 😂
What's the point of having the best camera, when no one will buy the phone for that money anyway.. maybe a couple of Google fanatics..
The stupidest thing is when iphoneAre you going to shoot a video...the difference in light is brutal...brutal...it's totally fine, I trust the photo from Google. iPhone The photos are great in the light, when it gets dark...it's already making relatively below average photos...and I'm trying to do that. I don't count the sunsets in Slunicka, they are beautiful always and everywhere.
Maybe you mean the 5S, definitely not the XS. I don't agree.
