Norwegian company Cermaq plans to introduce facial recognition technology to fish farms. Each individual fish will then have a medical record that will be tracked over time. A 3D scan that can recognize infected individuals will take care of that. They will then be separated and treated. The company has already completed 9 months of tests with 2 fish and plans to conduct another test with 000 fish in November.
