Streaming game titles on the screens of mobile devices is not a revolutionary innovation. More than one development team is trying to benefit from and subsequently improve this option, with the aim of expanding its portfolio to other available devices. An excellent example can be the effort of the company Valve, which wants to gain a foothold with the Steam Link streaming function. Apple however, in this case, he was not as lenient as many fans would like and imagine, so this function is not iOS we probably won't see it (so soon). Microsoft however, it reveals its plans to provide all the gaming experiences we know from the Xbox console One on any portable device. This step opens up a whole new realm that will allow us to play our favorite acts anytime, anywhere.

Project xCloud represents the future of modern gaming that could Microsoft and put the Xbox division back at the forefront of the video game industry. The company is trying to break the barriers between the usual fixation on a certain platform and bring familiar gaming experiences regardless of what device you have. We will be able to play iconic series such as Halo, Forza Horizon/Motorsport or Gears of War on our iPads and iPhones. This is not just ordinary image streaming on a display phone. The entire game interface will be adapted, including control, manipulation on the touch screen or accessibility. We will be able to connect a game controller from the Xbox console to our Apple device One, or simply control the game using your fingers, as in traditional z games App Store.

Using a device with iOS or Android gives us a completely new opportunity to enjoy the latest game gems in the mobile version.

Despite the fact that this feature represents a huge technological leap, it is a process of several years, during which the whole system will have to be fine-tuned and the developers will have to "catch all the flies", so to speak. The first public testing will take place already in 2019. But here Microsoft again hints at where he wants to go with the next generation of gaming consoles. Several times the head of the division, Phil Spencer, has hinted that cloud represents the future for Xbox. This obviously didn't just apply to standard game consoles. System xCloud it will operate on the basis of data and signal transmission across data centers around the world, rapidly increasing coverage. Streaming is currently limited to a speed connection minialmost 10 Mbps, but inoneas a result, a lower speed should also be supported.

Now we can only hope Apple will allow this step on iPhones and iPads, allowing fans to turn Apple devices into real gaming machines despite the possible threat to sales from Apple Store. Otherwise, it is possible to state that he will make even more enemies of the player community, which could have much more serious consequences.
