The AnandTech portal published a review of the new one a few days ago. iPhone XS, in which he takes a detailed look at the processor that beats in the bowels of this year's flagships from Applu. According to analysis from AnandTech, the A12 Bionic processor, which is part of the iPhone XS and XS Max, up to 40% more powerful than the A11 Bionic, which was part of last year's iPhone X.

This is what the new flagships from Applu – iPhone XS and XS Max:

One of the most interesting pieces of information emerging from the analysis is that this year's A12 Bionic processor should be up to 40% more powerful than last year's. There wouldn't be anything so interesting about it if Apple he did not say anything completely different at his presentation. According to his words from the September keynote This year's processors are "only" 15% more powerful. Moreover, AnandTech compares the performance of the A12 Bionic to the performance of some desktop processors, which is truly impressive.

If we look at the GPU side, ie. graphics part of the processor, not so many innovations took place here. The new GPU in the A12 Bionic processor is rather only slightly improved from last year. But this does not mean that it is not efficient - quite the contrary. The GPU has greater performance mainly due to the addition of a fourth core and at the same time due to increased graphics memory. But the negative thing on the GPU side is the "throttling mechanism" that it should have Apple definitely reworked in the next generations. The point is that when the GPU is under heavy load for a long time, the phone starts to heat up considerably, which is not very pleasant. Apple therefore, it should focus on the GPU performance curve and "throttle" it during long-term high performance to avoid high heating, which is not ideal for the phone.

In the review, AnandTech also took a look at the new iPhone's camera. According to them, the camera has received a really solid improvement in all aspects. The new sensor is able to absorb 50% more light while taking really high-quality and detailed photos. Smart HDR It also works perfectly and exactly as it should. Apple he described in his presentation.
