The release of new operating systems almost always comes with bugs that plague these systems and make their use very unpleasant for users. However, while last year's iOS 11 has been a mistake since its release, blessedly, in iOS 12 doesn't bother us with too many bugs yet. Unfortunately, it's not completely perfect either.

Some users, after switching to iOS 12 complain about significantly worse battery life, which, according to them, has dropped by half compared to the previous system. DoneHowever, it was not very clear what could be the reason for the worse battery life. However, opinions are starting to appear on foreign forums that one of the causes may be the new Screen Time feature, which is supposed to help us maintain our digital health by providing an overview of how often and what we use on the iPhone. However, the constant monitoring of our activity can significantly reduce battery life.
According to observations of users suffering from poorer stamina iOS 12, in many cases, after turning off Screen Time, their device's battery life increased rapidly. Some users even report up to a 50% improvement, which is a really big difference. However, others do not notice any significant improvement, so it is possible that there may be bugs affecting battery life. iOS 12 more.

So if you're also suffering from poor battery life, you can try turning off Screen Time as well, which V will do Settings - Screen time and then all the way down Turn off Screen Time. However, it is to be expected that if poor stamina is indeed caused by this feature for some users, Apple they will fix it with a software update soon.
Worried about battery life? The solution may be to turn off the phone.
😬😬😬👍
KoneI wonder if someone pointed out this useless news.
Redundant? The file obliges. On apple Are you people complaining that they are on their phones?onethey are addicted :D
I don't care much for durability. I have bluetooth and location services on all the time, so I won't get on the SE for over 1 day, but I'll try turning it off. I don't care anyway.
This drop is quite noticeable, especially on older devices where the battery is no longer in use. 100% condition...my 6ska ended up in the service for battery replacement after the update. My colleague is the same way. According to the condition, it had 85% and the phone lasted s iOS 12 charged for barely 12 hours, even on the old one iOS 11 lasted a day just fine. Now I have a new one in my hand iPhone 7, I don't have to solve anything, turn anything off and this evening I still have about 25% with normal daily load. It scares me a little that the battery is depreciating in a year and a quarter old phone. I don't remember this with any other phone and I've had phones for much longer in the past.
exactly as you say! I have a 6 and the battery is 87%.. I charge it twice a day!!! with ios 11 cool 1 day.. I can feel the brutal difference!!! 😬
With SE and I will also keep charging 😁😬
And that's why I'm staying with SE on 10.3.3 and charging it after about 50 hours with the original battery about 2,5 years old... I know, it's hard to resist the temptation to try something new iOS...
I'm still happy with it. ios 12 mom iphone SE with 10.3.1 and tonight I still have 70% battery so I'm not updating mainly because of battery life
location services off :))
He really is someone screen time translated as screen time?
Send your "correct" translation to Applol, they like to have fun. ;)
I am after updating. ios 12 automatically turned on background refresh both over Wi-Fi and LTE, before I only had it over Wi-Fi, so check that too if you have a problem.
After upgrading to iOS 12 na iPhone X has not changed anything at all and everything still works perfectly normally. I would like to point out that I use the phone quite a lot, including turning on wifi, BT, using navigation, as a backup to the camera and camcorder and now with Apple W4. In the evening I have 30-40% battery capacity and I only really charge at night when I go to sleep...

I wanted to try that too, turn it off Screen Time, but it will remove all restrictions, such as disabling in-app purchases, etc.
On my 6S, the capacity is incredibly low, in about 4 hours I have 30% capacity, drive I was at this percentage after about 8 hours of use, also aw3 about a 35% reduction in endurance.
I have had a 6S since the beginning, WiFi is on all the time - when I'm away from home, it turns on mobile data. I turned off screen monitoring immediately. I have iOS12
I forgot to add that I don't see any problem with the battery for now
version 10.3.3. SE usage completely normal without restrictions and in the evening 30-40% 2 year old battery.
