Apple are most likely trying to research new and novel ways to improve hearing while using headphones. He has registered a patent that deals with adjusting the sound based on the shape of your ear. At the same time, this patent recognizes if you accidentally put the headphones on the other way around. It may be an indication that Apple is really preparing headphones under its brand that will be a step ahead compared to other headphones. If we were to go by the patent, these new headphones could be ambidextrous. This means that it wouldn't matter if you put them on from one side or the other - you'll always hear what you have.

Such a solution involves the use of sensors that overlap the speakers inside the earcups. These sensors should be arranged in a circle and should automatically detect how the headphones are placed on the head. Depending on this, it is then selected which headphones will send the sounds for the left ear and vice versa. And of course it wouldn't be Apple, if he didn't come up with something else. So if you decide to use sensors for ear detection, why not also use these sensors to automatically adapt the output to the listener's ear so that the listener has the best possible enjoyment of listening to music or movies? Each ear is shaped and sized differently, and personally I think this feature would be absolutely awesome.

Registered patent and possible appearance of future headphones from Applu (concept):

This solution is not limited to headphones. The patent could also be used for smart pillows that automatically detect whether you lie on your left or right side and adjust their shape accordingly. But let's not rejoice too soon. Apple he has already registered countless of these patents. In March of this year, thanks to analysts' forecasts, we learned that Apple he is most likely preparing his own headphones. This means that we would see purebred headsets Apple headphones, without participation of the Beats brand. We were supposed to see these headphones towards the end of 2018, but for now there are no reports indicating that this should be the case.
