It's been known for a long time that iPhones have great cameras. Most of you have probably been waiting to see how the new flagships from Apple fare with their cameras. Applol, iPhone XS Max and XS, according to experts at DxOMark. Today, they released the results with a detailed analysis of the rear camera of the new iPhone XS Max, which earned 105 points in the ranking, i.e. which is only 4 points less than what the Huawei P20 Pro achieved.
This is what the new one looks like iPhone XS and XS Max:
DxOMark rated the iPhone XS camera in its test Max as simply excelExcellent quality photos and videos in good light are a given. With iPhonem XS Max you can also look forward to a very high dynamic range and great detail display. As for the photos themselves, according to the DxOMark review, they have great exposure, great details and, most importantly, pleasant and natural colors. The review also mentions a new feature Smart HDR, which ensures that your photo will always have a good exposure in any environment and lighting conditions. If we focus on videos from the iPhone XS Max, so here we have a simple statement – excellent in good lighting conditions.
Results and comparison with iPhoneYou can view m X in this gallery:
iPhone XS Max In short, it deserves the title of "one of the best mobile cameras". Compared to last year's iPhone X, we have seen many improvements. XS Max It is described as being generally very reliable under any conditions and will constantly surprise you with its results.
And how is XS doing? Max in poor lighting conditions? DxOMark said that in poor lighting, noise starts to appear in photos a little earlier than in the competition. The same applies to zoom, where the iPhone XS camera Max It lags behind the Huawei P20 Pro.oneBut in the end we came to the conclusion that iPhone XS Max is a sure choice for all mobile photographers.
DxO is well known franca company from Ouz that has been testing smartphone cameras for several years. In order to create this test, the people from DxO took a iPhonem XS Max almost 1500 photos and more than two hours of video on the camera's default settings.
So if you are wondering about the new iPhonem have been thinking about the camera, you can reach for it with a clear conscience, and for any variaThe cameras in both the 5,8″ and 6,5″ are identical.
Well, the main thing is that Huawei sometimes steals from Applu patent like Huawei nova3 😂
Huawei has a worse camera.
Yes, I agree, I tested the Huawei p20 pro and it's a camera for him... well, for nothing. If I want a reference photo, then nestI want to come and click, but manual mode and a big mess and then it's still disgusting...
The P20 Pro has more MPx and therefore a little sharper detail. But in terms of color rendering and post-processing, the iPhone seems much more realistic, better and less aggressive to me. There is also a comparison of textures with the Pixel 2 on the DxOMark website, where again the iPhone photo is closest to reality, while the Pixel 2 looks like a scary Chucky doll. When I compare the first TOP5, I like it the most to my eye and on my TV iPhone XS. I just don't understand what he's doing there. Galaxy Note 9 - that's 93 points, not 103.
I got it iPhone XS Max I also have the Huawei P20 Pro and I can confirm that the P20 Pro takes really nicer photos than the XS MaxEspecially in terms of dynamic range and also in poorer lighting conditions. But when it comes to video, Huawei is in a very bad, even tragic, state.
Amateurs... I'm here 🍏... but the p20pro has a better photo chip (it's bigger and gets more light).. that's why it has better photos
I would expect a mobile phone for 40 thousand to be the best in everything 😀 Sad on the one hand.
You can't go too far into the forest with a Ferrari either 🤔
Perhaps next year in full innovation step = XI...
…for a hefty extra charge :(
But where will the competition be?! :P
Interesting.. When another flagship comes out, people wait weeks or months to test it. Once it arrives iPhone We have a review in a few days.
Otherwise, as someone already wrote, the P20pro still has better photos, but the video quality is tragic compared to the iPhone (I'm writing this as a P20pro owner). In this case, I have a suggestion as iPhone So Samsung, unfortunately..
* I'm still hoping that with the release of the A9 there will be some software video improvement, because this is sad, we'll see in a few days/weeks.
Really? iPhone proplayed just because of the video quality. See a similar article on Smartmania 🙃🙃🙃 What someone writes here is irrelevant 🤣🤣🤣 if I have to choose the opinion of DxO or some guy, it's probably clear whose opinion I'll give more. After all, the guy's opinion is not based on facts, but on subjective likes or dislikes or on what they just bought. And don't let the carp out of the pond by spitting on their own hair dryer 😂😂😂 that's reality 🙃🙃🙃
You have my back. I am writing only my impressions, I have both phones in front of me, I am testing both.
I currently use the P20pro as a work phone, as it can easily charge for 2 days (the XSko is the second one long after death - if I load it like the p20, I have around 25% in the evening)
– If you want to tell me that the P20pro has a "super" video, then you have never held the phone in your hand and that is a bare fact.
Well, it doesn't matter what the sheep are doing here. The reality is that the best phone in the world bowed down to a much older model from hulahej 🤣🤣🤣 what does that mean? The facts are the facts, and you can make up your own mind as you wish. As they say, to think means …. lead 🤣🤣🤣 yes, and I don't really care if he lost. I'm just having fun with the simple-minded grooming. What's an iPhone player, it's a fox and sour grapes. But I doubt that the simpleton actually knows the fable 😂😂😂
For a 40-year-old kid, it's a lot of smiley faces.
hooray, hooray :D
Why are you even talking about some Chujawei? Leave it to those who don't have it. iPhone and don't spoil their joy 😉😁
Anyway, we leave iPhones for what they are, and like to buy an overpriced sunt ;)
Comment of the year
Well, he has Apple worse camera, so what? It is much more expensive for that
DxOMark I am not an expert, perhaps a self-proclaimed one. It has already been reported several times that they do reviews to order (for money), especially in the world of full-fledged cameras. I don't want to claim that Huawei ordered the review, but probably yes, exactly as it cheats benchmarks.
Hello, is there anyone who would recommend a lamp with wireless charging? Thanks!
Well, I have to laugh :) what a fright it caused and how the sheep bleat (I am also a user of several Apple products, but I'm not one of them Applu so pos...) and for some time now it has probably been clear to everyone that Apple there is nothing extra, let's put up with it (well, at least apart from the prices) yes, recently they have been doing quite well with gay marches and the dials are really TOP :)
What are you talking about apple is the best brand in the world you idiot. go bury yourself with your android and windows. all of that is shit compared to applu
According to DxOMark, maybe, but in daylight the XS definitely wins. Huawei only wins in complete darkness thanks to long shutter times.
It may take better photos at night, but it's fine too iphone 8+/ X has better video quality since huawei can't do 4K60FPS and on top of that optical stabilization is automatically turned off at 4K on the P20 Pro 😉
Honestly, how many of you shoot in 4K and then edit it on a PC? This seems to me the same as chasing the numbers in the benchmark..
I think that for the next, let's say, 2-5 years, it is enough to shoot at 2K = more is probably pointless at the moment.
* How many people have 4K monitors/TVs? so 1-2% of all and how many of those 2% really watch everything in 4K?
The camera is clearly better on the P20. That's obvious at first glance. But switching to Android would be really worth it for me nesthello 🙂
It is sad when, as the owner iphone 8 I would go for the new XS, I was looking forward to how great it is and
had to put CZK 30000 on the table, while in a year almost everyone will have the same parameters and
it will cost max.half. In another two years I can throw it away because the same mobile phone will cost
5000 CZK and new iphone not 30000 CZK – but 35000 CZK. And this is how they make us idiots who
they are willing to pay over 10 CZK for 100 years of using high-end equipment.
Year iphone it's not for everyone, I understand, I have two myself (iphone 8 and SE), but to make the mobile stand like
top TV 4K 165cm, that's already a bit over the edge. Unless it's gold-plated, and it's not.
Even such an expensive TV is over the edge, you waste your time and pay so much money for it.
You are so young. Don't worry about anything. Don't cry and bow down to the king.
you are an ox!! A king is meant to rule for a soooo long time!! Yours iphone xs ?? in two years even a dog won't bark at him !!! Just like no one will remember iphone 8, X etc.
PIxel 3 is coming, so best camera It will be with Pixel again :)
Michael Plevák nothing much 😁
I don't see what you're upset about. Already the first reviews talked about the fact that the intergenerational difference is huge, iPhone it takes good pictures, but it doesn't have the Pixel 2 (which is a standard that needs to be overcome).
So it can't be a surprise, right? iPhone which uses quite massive smoothing, doesn't have a completely perfect color rendering and still doesn't catch up in HDR to the Pixel, it just doesn't get the best rating from such an unreliable source as DXO Mark - if only from the point of view that, for example, the Pixel has a rating from a pre-production phone and hasn't been updated at all in the last year. At the same time, it was clearly said that with the exception of night shots (in which there really is a P20 excelentny) Huawei still doesn't take better photos than the Pixel. Bottom line: Can a test that gives 11 points more to a worse camera be taken seriously? Not much? A direct comparison of some clever YouTuber will tell you much more...
