On the fact that on Apple We have become accustomed to lawsuits quite often in recent months and years. However, most of them are lawsuits for alleged infringement of various patents or for the fact that a product with a bitten apple in its logo has damaged or injured someone. Very often, however, nestI hope that Apple faced accusations of suppressing right-wing views.

A lawsuit against five major technology companies, including Apple. They are accused by a former US attorney of companies working together to limit right-wing views in the world and de facto arming against President Donald Trump, thereby supporting left-wing agendas.

For Google companies, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, the accusation is perhaps at least partially understandable, as they have tools with which they could theoretically actually do something similar. Applu, which operates in a completely different industry, the accusation is rather strange. However, the former prosecutor decided to sue him anyway. The reason is said to be that he recently removed five right-wing Infowars podcasts from his Podcasts app, which, according to the prosecutor, was probably a clear statement of his position.

Interestingly, some companies, including Applu already in 2016 during the American presidential election. At that time, there was a growing effort to eradicate fake news that could influence the election in some way, which right-wing Americans saw as a suppression of their views, since much of the "fake news" was produced by them.

The plaintiff would like to Applu and other companies for a combined total of more than a billion dollars. While this amount may seem crazy, according to the plaintiff, it is still very modest compared to the fines imposed by the European Union for violations of such large companies. However, whether the plaintiff will succeed is currently up in the air.
