Facebook introduced the video platform Watch about a year ago. Until now, it was only available to users in the US market, but the company has decided to expand the video service to the entire world, thus becoming a competitor to YouTube and Netflix. The Watch platform contains entertainment and sports programs that are really popular, with 50 million users in the US watching at least one minute of video on Watch every month. In addition, authorized video content creators can earn money from their programs, thanks to the automated advertising system Ad Breaks, which will initially be available only in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and the US. However, the option will gradually expand to other countries.
