“Unfortunately, we can no longer help you, this product has already been marked as obsolete.” This is exactly the sentence that many owners of products from Applu is scared as hell. In short, it means that at least five years have passed since the end of production of their product, which is the period after which it is possible to cancel product support, which means only one thing - authorized services or directly Apple they won't fix your old man anymore. But this is often a shame, because some products work even on "old knees" without major problems and a few more years would be enough for their owners to function. Fortunately, though Apple launched a pilot program that aims to keep some of the old products alive even longer thanks to its support.

That's not how microsoft or lenovo, you can throw them away after a year
Well, you obviously have no idea what you're talking about. The flagship Lenovo TP X1 C 6 costs almost half as much as the flagship MB and has a 3-year warranty for the company as well. Spick's MS surface costs 40% less than Spick's MB for 18, and both have only a 12-month warranty for companies. For citizens, both are equal to 24 months. So it is clear that you are talking nonsense. NB does not give better conditions than others.
I don't understand how someone can write a "smart" notebook when Winsdorf is running there...
Winsdorf no, but Pinďous 10 :D
How can you compare an average plastic bottle with a lifespan of about 3 years and then absolutely unsellable with MacBookem, which is "in" minialmost twice as long and it can still be sold for a decent price. And I'm not even talking about the "user comfort" of Woknows 10 compared to macOS... :D
My ASUS X550 has been running for 4 years without a single problem. Where you live…
Well, the question is how you can get service for an older machine. Like a five year old. That is, long after the end of the warranty.
Yay, we can spend another 16000 on a motherboard replacement at MBA…
To your credit Apple but let's face it, wine doesn't really belong in a laptop and otherwise an MBA is really the best choice for a person on the go... 👍
Palihora - you have a point 👍
I used it six months ago MacBook Air 2011. I had previously upgraded the 128 GB SSD to 256 GB (which is no longer possible on new ones!!!) and I had the latest OS X in Bootcamp and Windows 10. System from Apple I haven't come up with the taste even in all those years, but Windows they ran beautifully on it, I used them 95% of the time. I bought a Mac because Xcode.
After all these years, I can say that HW from Apple is not much more expensive than the competition (max. 10%), but Windows it runs beautifully, more reliably than other PC machines.
But after 6 years my RAM and mine left MacBook I could throw it away because the repair=replacement of the MB, which is a pretty expensive part of the HW. This is the thing that the Mac series has. Real post-warranty irreparability, :-(
