The reality of the production of film works from the environment of well-known game titles is nothing new these days. Well, if it's a game for a mobile phone platform, that's a bit of a different matter. This is exactly the case with the well-known puzzle series Monument Valley, which will soon see its own film adaptation. According to the latest sources, Paramount Pictures managed to grab the rights to the film, which will handle the silver screen adaptation in cooperation with Weed Road Pictures.

The director of the film will be Patrick Osborne, who is mainly known for his work on films Big Hero Six, Paperman or Feast. It was the last named act that earned him an award in the form of Oscarand for Best Animated Short Film. In addition to the mentioned projects, he also worked as an animator on fairy tales Wreck it Ralph or Bolt. The studios that are in charge of the production of the film hope that they will bring the family franchise, which they start with the very first film Monument Valley.
The games from the Monument Valley series have earned many awards for originality, playability and overall graphics.

I am very pleased that I will have the honor to process Ida's mysterious kingdom and transform the unconventional architectural processing into a film. I'm excited to bring this unique series to theaters, along with the talented team at Paramount and Weed Road Pictures," says the director of the upcoming film.

The story will capture the optical illusions of the fictitious world into which the film's main characters wander. The film processing will bring a good dose of adventure and a breathtaking processing full of abstract elements that will make our heads spin.
