If you've recently set up a smart home and tried to make it as economical as possible, you've probably heard of the TRÅDFRI products offered by the Swedish retail chain IKEA. These are mostly smart bulbs that you can control using your HomeKitfor example using your iPhone. Their main weapon is their price, which is very favorable compared to the competition. And this line of smart toys will apparently grow by another thing in October.

A leaked image that appears to be from IKEA's internal product database has surfaced. The image, published by Swedish tech blog Teknikveckan, shows what appears to be a smart plug compatible with HomeKitem. It should reportedly cost $10, which is around 220 crowns in the basic version. It will probably allow you to turn the power on and off or set a certain timing. If you pay another $5, or around 110 crowns, you should also get a remote control for the socket, which you can use to control it if you don't have your smartphone at hand.one.

Of course, at the moment it is not possible to say with 100% certainty whether this is real information and we cannot be certain whether it will arrive on the Czech market. However, the fact is that TRÅDFRI products are quite popular worldwide, so IKEA could try to expand them even more. And the new outlet could help her with that.

Did you know that IKEA also has its own application to help you choose furniture right at home?:

And what about you? Have you already tried products from the TRÅDFRI range, or do you prefer "proven" brands in the smart product market? And if not, how did IKEA impress you with its smart toys?
