For iPhone 8 and iPhone X owners, this summer is the first time they've used their devices in high temperatures. It's clear that many people have been to warm countries even during the winter, but globally, this summer is the first time Europeans have put their devices to the test. Last week, I returned from Spain, where temperatures are well above 22 degrees Celsius even at around 30:30 p.m. That's where my iPhone 8 much more than anywhere else completely unusable and several times a day its brightness was reduced to such a low level minimum, when nothing was really visible in the sun at all. I had a similar problem, but to a lesser extent, in Italy a few weeks ago. When we also talked to editors or friends, we found out that a similar problem affects almost everyone I discussed it with.

One friend wanted to solve everything by complaining about the phone at his dealer, where he learned that there were a large number of people with a similar problem, but Apple does not consider the given behavior of the phone as a bug, but as a normal feature of the device. The problem is that Apple on its website, as well as in the operating conditions of the device, it states that it is intended for operation at temperatures between 0-35 degrees Celsius. However, a phone that you expose to direct sunlight in the summer immediately finds itself at an even higher temperature and has a problem with overheating, which the device itself solves by gradually reducing the brightness, which often ends with you basically not being able to see anything on the display .

As soon as you put your phone in front of the air conditioning vent, for example, in a few tens of seconds you see how the brightness rises again to the value you set and everything works as it should. Unfortunately, this problem affects both iPhone 8 to iPhone 8 Plus, as well iPhone X. I am not saying that it affects every single user and to some extent it depends not only on what kind of device you have, but also on what applications you use and in what environment. However, it is clear that this is an unpleasant problem, which at least for me personally has never manifested itself with previous models. The only solution is to cool the phone as much as possible in the summer, not expose it to high temperatures and not use protective cases. Despite this, situations will arise when the brightness simply decreases without your influence and you cannot do anything about it. There are a few tips that you can follow to restore the brightness as soon as possible, but the question is whether it is of any use to you after applying them. iPhone and not the Nokia 3310, because you have to turn off basically everything iPhone does iPhonem.

To reduce the temperature of your phone as soon as possible, close all applications, turn off GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Then remove the case or protective film from your phone and stop using it in direct sunlight. Restarting the device may also help, but only until you start your commonly used applications and functions again and the phone warms up again. We'll see if that helps. Appwill be able to solve the problem with the new phones that many of us will be using next summer. Personally, I believe that Apple it will remove the error because the phone that I can't use at the moment when it's hot outside is honestly telling me two things.
