Security researchers at antivirus company Check Point have discovered a dangerous flaw in the popular chatapplication WhatsApp, which belongs to the company Facebook. The vulnerability could be exploited by cybercriminals to intercept and modify sent messages, allowing them to manipulate the messages as they see fit. They could edit sent messages in both private and group conversations. WhatsApp has not yet released a fix for the bug, even though the antivirus company informed the company itself about the danger Facebook.
