Today we have seen the release of the seventh in a row betaoperating system versions iOS 12, macOS Mojave, watchOS 5 and tvOS 12 for developers. And the first ones mentioned, that is iOS and macOS, this unpleasant discovery applies. Apple removed the ability to make group calls through FaceTime in these last few betaversions of the systems. This feature allows calls of up to 32 participants at the same time, either via video or just audio.

Group calls have been available since the first betaversions iOS 12 and macOS Mojave and it's not so clear why it's Apple has been removed at this time. Moreover, unfortunately, we will not see this feature from the first day of the release of full versions of the operating systems. In the report on the seventh betaversions are stated that we will see this feature in a future software update later this fall.

In addition to group calls in FaceTime, it will bring iOS 12 lots of other news:

So let's hope that we will actually see it at least this year. The situation with AirPlay, which was supposed to be part of iOS 11, but this feature was released much later with iOS 11.4. However, many users will be disappointed by this news even if the feature is added this year. Group calls were one of the most striking and best-received innovations iOS 12 and macOS Mojave.
