Government workers in Alaska have started using classic typewriters instead of computers. The reason is a cyber attack in which their computer system was attacked. The ransomware first encrypted all the data on the hard drive on the computers and the hackers demanded a ransom to release it. But the city in Alaska does not want to pay the ransom to criminals, so security experts are trying to restore the system. For now, however, officials use typewriters or paper and pencil. The attack affects all 500 computers and 120 computer servers.
