Nowadays, more and more young people are using the Internet, but mostly in the wrong way. Facebook has therefore decided to prepare resources that will help the young generation better navigate the Internet and use it responsibly. Facebook lowered Digital Literacy Library (Digital Literacy Library) in collaboration with the Youth and Media team. These are interactive lessons and videos that are free to download.

The lessons are based on more than a decade of scientific research and consultation with teenagers. The curriculum is divided into five themes – Privacy and Reputation, Identity Exploration, Positive Behavior, Safety and Community Engagement. It contains 18 lessons in total, which are currently in English, however Facebook plans to translate them into 45 more languages. The lessons will teach young people everything from healthy online relationships to recognizing phishing scams.
