How to save screenshoty on iCloud
On our Mac or MacBookwe must first open Terminal. We'll do it either through Spotlight, when in top right of the screen we click on in the top bar magnifying glass icon, which Spotlight activates. We will then write in the text field here Terminal and we will confirm by enter. Another way to turn on the terminal is through Launchpad – just click on the folder here Utility and choose the Terminal icon. Once we're in the Terminal, we'll copy this command (without quotes): "defaults write com.apple.screencapture location ". Now we have to open iCloud Drive – we can also do this in two ways. In the first case, we can click on the top bar Open -> iCloud Drive. The second way is to use of this manual you can proxy to iCloud Drive add do Docku.
After we are in iCloud Drive, so we can create it directly in it folder, into which screenshoty will save (i.e. for example the folder "screens"). Then this folder we grab it and move it towards the Terminal, in which we already have a pre-prepared command. After moving the folder to Terminal se automatically writes the way to yours andCloud Drive. Now you just need to press enter and voila, it's done.
For your reference – my entire command after moving the folder nakonec looked like this: defaults write com.apple.screencapture location /Users/paveljelic/Library/Mobile Documents/com~apple~CloudDocs/Screens.
Finally, I would like to add that instead of a folder in iCloud You can choose the drive any other folder on your macOS device. Simply move the required folder to the Terminal as in the case above. The path is again "written" into the command, and after confirming with enter, it's done. Should you decide that you want to change the path for saving screenshots back to the Surface, just use this one command (without quotes): "defaults write com.apple.screencapture location ~/Desktop".
