The Notes app, which is built right into iOS, most likely we all know and actively use it. In the Notes application, we can, as the name suggests, write notes, but it doesn't end there - we can also draw various sketches, scan documents and lock each note separately. However, if you are an active user of this sophisticated application, whose name does not even remotely correspond to what it can do, you may have noticed that whenever you edited an older note, it automatically moved to the first place in the list of notes. And of course, this may not suit everyone. Therefore, in today's guide, we will show you how to change the alphabetical order of notes, modification date and creation date.

How to adjust the sorting of notes in iOS
To adjust the order of the notes, we go to on our apple device Settings. Here let's slide below, until we come across a box Notes, which we click on. Here we open the option Sorting notes under the Display subheading. It will appear to us three options, from which we can choose simply by marking. Either notes will be sorted by modification dates (so it's set by default), or sort by date of creation notes and or by name, that is alphabetically. It's up to you what suits you better.
Personally, I think that out of the three options, sorting by date of creation is the best. Because I'm constantly creating new notes and I usually need to have the latest ones at hand. Plus, if I happen to edit an older note afterwards, I'm used to placing it further down the list. Several times with the default sort setting, I've edited an old note and later couldn't find it because it was among the first in the list. You can see the differences in all three sorting options below in the gallery.
