Every now and then, a message appears in the world that iPhone saved a man's life. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Twenty-four-year-old Lonzell Hunter was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of a woman who argued with him about iPhone 7 of her daughter. A jury found him guilty this week of murdering a XNUMX-year-old woman he killed in Texas last October.

On that fateful day, the daughter of the murdered woman had arranged to sell her iPhone 7 with a buyer she was supposed to meet in one of the shopping centers there. In her witness statement, the daughter stated that this was not the first time she had sold goods like this. He deliberately chooses public places to meet buyers because he feels safer. She met the buyer that day in the parking lot. During the moment that the shooter was looking at the phone, he also handed it to his acquaintance, who was sitting silently in the car the whole time, for "checking". The mother, who was accompanying her daughter, after a few minutes of inactivity demanded that the price be paid or the item returned to her daughter. Since the gentlemen were having none of it, she started to wrestle with them over the phone. After a few minutes of fighting, Hunter shot her, jumped into his car and ordered his driver to leave the scene immediately.

Before committing the crime, Lonzell Hunter deliberately created an account with a fake name on the bazaar e-shop and then informed the neighborhood about his intention, according to the court statement. The convicted shooter is also accused of a robbery-murder that took place at another mall in September 2016. The judge who handed down the conviction added that if someone asks her Hunter's name, she spells out the word EVIL. Unfortunately, this is not the first time blood has been spilled over the iPhone. Last year, a thirty-two-year-old man was killed when he wanted to sell through the Letgo app to the young man iPhone X.
