If you are one of those individuals who owns iPhone or iPad with the lowest possible storage and you take countless photos during the day, for example, it may simply happen that you run out of space on the device. Fortunately, in iOS 11 there is one useful feature that takes care of the so-called "suspension" of applications that you are not currently using or do not need. If you are also having a problem with storage on your Apple device, definitely continue reading, because with this trick you will be able to save up to gigabytes of free space. So how does "suspension" of applications work?

How in iOS Does app deferral work?

Before we get into snoozing apps, I'll explain how snoozing itself works. Apple defines deferral as follows: "When you defer an application, the space occupied by the application is freed up. Related documents and data are preserved. If the application is available in App Store, you will get your data back when you reinstall it.” If you are not very wise, in practice it works like this: when you install a game, for example, the application itself is installed and then other documents and data are downloaded and saved with it - in the case of a game, this can even be your saved position. If you put this game aside, the application is uninstalled, but the application data remains on the phone. This simply means that you will not lose your saved progress in the game, nor will you have to re-download a large amount of data that you need to run the game. All you need to do is re-download the “launcher” application from App Store.

How to use app snooze?

On ours iOS we will open the device Settings. Here we delve into General and click on the item Storage: iPhone (iPad). We'll wait for the storage usage graph to load and then we'll go down below, where all applications are located. The application we want tochat defer, we'll click and select the option Postpone the application. The device will ask us once again if we really want to suspend the application - we will confirm. As you may have noticed, in the case of Fortnite I managed to release approx 140 MB places, which is certainly enough for at least a few photos.

If you decide to reinstall the deferred application, simply press the Reinstall application button in the deferred application's settings. You can also reinstall the deferred application by finding it in App You can download it again.
