With interesting game titles on macOS, the bag has literally been torn apart recently. One of the most interesting games that was announced recently is undoubtedly the action game Rose of the Tomb Rider, which until now fans of this game could only play on PC and consoles. However, fortunately, the developers from the studio Feral Interactive decided to change this and reimagined this very interesting title for Apple devices as well. However, the hardware specifications of this gem are not welcoming at all.

The official release of the new Lara Croft game will be this Thursday, April 12th. In addition to the release date, the developers also revealed miniminimum hardware requirements for Macs on which you can play the new Lara. However, as I wrote in the previous paragraph, owners of older Macs will probably not be completely happy with the following lines.

You can play Rise of the Tomb Rider on:

  • All 13” MacBook Pros released since 2016
  • All 15” MacBook Pros from Late 2013 (requires 2,3 GHz processor and better)
  • All 21,5” iMacs from the Late 2017 model
  • All 27” iMacs from Late 2014 (but not supported with nVidia GT 755M graphics) and some from 2012 (with nVidia 680MX graphics)
  • All Mac Pro

So if you meet the hardware requirements, which are not the lowest, you can happily download it from Thursday. The game will be available both on the developer's website and on Steam and in Mac App Store, where it will probably be the easiest to download from. Interestingly, however, while the game's size from Steam is 27 GB, downloading the game from Mac App Store it will take up 10 GB more on your Mac. The price of the game will then be 60 euro.
