Apple announced that all of its buildings, including retail stores,ancfactories, data centers and more, are powered only by renewable energy. The Cupertino company currently has facilities in a total of 43 countries around the world, including the United States, Great Britain, China and India. Apple it says it has 25 operational renewable energy projects worldwide, representing 626 megawatts of generating capacity. A further 15 projects are currently under construction and when completed will offer a total of 1,5 gigawatts of renewable energy in 11 countries around the world.
