CEO of a Cupertino company Tim Cook is due to testify in court on June 27th in the ongoing legal dispute between Applewith Qualcomm. Cook will provide testimony in the lawsuit filed by Qualcomm against Apple. The chipmaker has accused the Cupertino company of lying to regulators to cause problems that have now put it under investigation in multiple countries.
The United States Federal Trade Commission in January accused Qualcomm of anti-competitive patent practices and abusing its patent portfolio to maintain a dominant position among suppliers of LTE chips for smartphones. In June, a judge ruled that Qualcomm would face a lawsuit.

Qualcomm also faced an antitrust investigation in South Korea, where it Apple accused of interference. Qualcomm was even fined $1,2 billion by European antitrust regulators for Apple paid unauthorized licensing fees for the use of LTE chips in iOS devices. In South Korea, Qualcomm was fined $902 million.
Qualcomm has Apple they have been waging war since early 2017. Apple then sued Qualcomm for $1 billion for charging unfair royalties for technologies it didn't even Apple doesn't use it in any way.
