The well-known TV adaptation, which is behind Ken Follett, arrived on App Store in the form of The Pillars of the Earth. The story-adventure Pillar of the Earth debuted in 2017 on Xbox consoles One, PS4 and of course on PC. You can also play the first episode on your iPhones or iPads!
The studio Daedalic Entertainment, based in Hamburg, Germany, is behind the processing of the book and serial form into the form of a game. In the past, in the role of publisher, they brought us games such as Machinarium or Tales of Monkey Island. The latest addition to their game portfolio is the aforementioned Pillar of the Earth game.

The gameplay consists of telling a story situated in a medieval landscape, which you may recognize from series or books. The beautiful 2D rendering draws you into the story where every decision you make counts and will shape the further course of the game. In the dark medieval times, you take on the roles of the main protagonists Jackand, Aliena and Brother Philip, who are trying to build a revolutionary Gothic cathedral in the town of Kingsbridge, England. Players will be accompanied by supporting characters and together they will face unexpected obstacles. Based on your reactions and actions, you will control the fate of not only yourself, but also the other characters.
