On the company blog Facebook the technical chief wrote about the news that will affect all applications on the social network. The company is now under constant pressure because users have figured out that if they give the appropriate rights to applications to their data, they can get access to this data. From April 9th, Facebook will start displaying a link on the wall, under which they will find a list of all applications to which they have ever given any permissions and will be able to immediately remove them. However, this option has been there long before the case with the leakage of user data broke. Improvements of this type can therefore be seen more as a kind of warning from the Facebookthat this possibility exists.
