Apple Watch they are quite an expensive affair, especially if you have the latest model. With their price, of course, you can say, they match their construction quality. Build quality Apple Watch keeps them undamaged and waterproof, but it doesn't guarantee that you won't be able to scratch them on a sharp edge, for example, and it also doesn't guarantee that your display will withstand everything. That's exactly why I've prepared a review for you today on the tempered glass from hoco. and the TPU case from Spigen. A few weeks ago, we tested two cases from Spigen on iPhone X, which we cannot praise enough. You can read the reviews of these two covers here.

Tempered glass from hoco. is sold in two variantách, both for 38mm watches and 48mm watches. This is the tempered glass that we know from the phone, the only difference is that this tempered glass does not have a transparent glass finish, but a black one.

There is a little more to the case from Spigen that is worth mentioning. Spigen is a world-famous brand that is not only involved in creating cases for a wide range of devices. I have now chosen a cover for Spigen Apple WatchThis packaging is available in two sizes varia(38mm and 42mm) and has a large number of colors from which you can choose the one that suits you best. In the photos below you will see the case, which has a matte black color and is designed for 42mm Apple Watch.

Hoco tempered glass.
Hoco toughened glass packaging. is somewhat more premium than it might seem at first glance. In the case of classic tempered glasses, you only get the glass, and if the manufacturer is generous, they will also give you a cloth. In this case, however, it is different - the company hoco. In addition to the tempered glass itself, she prepared two cloths (wet and dry) and instructions for gluing the glass correctly. The last thing in the package, which pleasantly surprised me, is a protective film for the Apple Watch in addition.

On the other hand, you won't find anything extra in the package from Spigen. All that is in the package is only the package wrapped in a plastic bag and a small piece of paper that shows us how to properly put the package on Apple Watch install.

I have no complaints about the handling of both products. Glass from the company hoco. it looks like it could withstand even bigger impacts and seems to me a little better than classic tempered glass for the phone. The case from Spigen consists of two parts. One part is the "body" of the case and is made of TPU material. The second, smaller part is made of plastic and before the packaging on Apple Watch install, we have to click it. Then we install the watch into the TPU part and secure it back with this piece of plastic.
Personal experience
My personal experience with both products is more than good, although I did encounter one problem. The first time I stuck the tempered glass on the watch, I couldn't get it to stick completely. 100% straight (can be easily seen in the photos). I didn't think it would be a big problem, so I decided not to glue the glass over it. For a while I used the watch only with the glass. I found out that something was wrong when I started scratching my girlfriend's hair with the watch on my hand. Because the display is Apple Watch "rounded", so the glass is not glued over the entire surface. A similar case can be encountered with some glass on iPhone, when clutter or, for example, threads from your pocket can get under the edges of the glass. My hair got caught between the glass and the watch display and couldn't be pulled out. After successfully pulling it out, I didn't re-glue the glass, but another fact forced me to do so - applying the Spigen case. The glass started to spring after applying the case, so I had to re-glue it. Now I've managed to glue the glass. So if you start gluing it, you have to do it 100% accurately. Of course, we can't call this a product defect.
After I glued the glass back on, I decided to put a case on the watch. The case itself looks great on the watch – it makes the watch more distinctive and robust, although I understand that not everyone may like this style. However, in combination with the tempered glass, it creates a 100% protection for your watch and you would have to be really "clever" to somehow damage the watch despite such protection.

If you're worried about breaking your precious Apple Watch, I can give you tempered glass hoco. I can only recommend the durable case from Spigen. The materials used in both products are of high quality and will certainly withstand any damage.

The glass is ok, but I had the case for a long time, and when I took the watch out after a month, it got a scratch, since the protection point gets dirt and stuff

It takes feeling to put an ugly case on a boring watch. And that they are Apple watch quality? I had a polished series 2, and I have never had such a horribly flimsy watch. And they cost me maybe 30 thousand. For that price, I would expect some quality and not the kind of butters that rub off on the sleeve right away. And that I should still hide them in a case, that's really a dream.
Pretty horribly glued glass on apple watch. I bought glass from two different domestic e-shops which cost me 600 CZK and it only covered the display, then I bought almost full glass with a thin black frame from Wish (China) for 50 CZK, the quality is the same and I am satisfied.
