A few days ago we you informed about that Apple Watch saved a young mother and her son after a collision with a drunk driver. Today we bring you the story of how FaceTime saved the life of an Americanance. As reported by the BBC, a woman named Opokua Kwapong suffered a stroke during a FaceTime video call with her sister, whose name is Adumea Sapong.

Kwapong lives alone in New Yorkand that's why she often calls her sister Sapong, who lives in MancHester, via FaceTime. But Sapong didn't seem to notice anything about Kwapong. She noticed that she wasn't speaking clearly and that her face looked different than usual, so she told the nurse to give her a glass of water and some aspirin. But Kwapong couldn't even lift the glass of water, which was even more worrying.

Sapong was quite upset, so she called another nurse who works as a doctor. Interestingly, Sapong claimed that she also had a conference call with the other sister, even though FaceTime does not support group calls, so it is highly likely that she used a different device for the next video call.

“She thought I was panicking unnecessarily, but I called another nurse who is a doctor. We set up a conference for her to hear the nurse speak. She also said she doesn't speak clearly. So we both told her to seek medical attention immediately.'

Kwapong then hung up and immediately called 911. She underwent many tests at the hospital and afteronec she was diagnosed with a stroke that left her paralyzed on her left side. “There's no doubt that FaceTime saved my life. If my sister hadn't noticed that something was wrong, it could have turned out very differently." Kwapong said.

FaceTime is a very simple video calling feature and audiocalls, but as this story shows, even a basic feature like FaceTime can save a life. On the other hand, let's not be under any illusions that other video calling apps can't do the same.chatovation application.
