As always with new products, iFixit also disassembled the new iPad Pro 10,5″ and was the first to discover that the 10,5″ iPad has an internal layout more like a scaled-down 12,9″ iPad Pro than the delightful 9,7″ version. The internal layout of the iPad Pro The 9,7″ was essentially the same as the standard iPad, while the 12,9″ varianty passed Apple to a completely new arrangement, which he has now fine-tuned to perfection for the 10,5″ model. The internal layout of the 10,5″ iPad is essentially a simplified and improved layout that we can recognize from the larger 12,9″ iPad.

Unfortunately, the same as with other products from the company Apple with absolute exceptions, you can disassemble the internal parts, because Apple used standard Philips screws instead of special screws that are hard to find a screwdriver for, but repairing an iPad on your knee is almost impossible. iFixit did an iPad teardown Pro 10,5″ repairability rating of only 2/10, which is basically in line with the fact that Apple on tablets, he only repairs the display and otherwise changes the devices piece by piece.

Newly in the iPad, we also find twice the refresh rate of the display, which, however, also requires twice the number of connection cables. In total, the display and the motherboard are connected by four connecting cables, while the predecessor had to do with a pair of cables. The new product has 4GB of RAM in the form of two 2GB LPDDR4 chips from Toshiba. Overall, in the photos you can see how simple the iPad's internals are, and you can also see what it looks like when real masters take it apart.
