Apple used True Tone Display for the first time (and for the last time) on the 9,7-inch iPad Pro. The technology is based on adjusting the white balance and then adjusting the intensity of white light. Now, according to the latest information, we will see this feature in all three of this year's iPhonech, at least that's what investment bank Barclays claims.

According to Barclays, it will gain iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus and iPhone 8 ambient light sensor with “full spectral sensing” for the True Color display. The sensor is expected to be supplied by Austrian semiconductor company AMS.

The 9,7-inch iPad Pro uses advanced four-channel light sensors to automatically adjust colors to match the color temperature of the light in your environment. If you're standing in a dimly lit room with incandescent bulbs, the display will appear yellower and warmer. If you're outside on a cloudy day, the display will appear more blue. In some ways True Tone The display acts as a Night Shift feature, which is available for iOS and now also for macOS.
