The first new iPads are reaching reviewers, and new information about the successor is emerging. Airthe 2nd generation actually does. Yesterday we informed you about how the new iPad looks inside, thanks to a detailed look under the hood, which was behind iFixit. They didn't finish their analysis yesterday. Overnight, a video of the entire process appeared on YouTube and they also recently confirmed that the display in the new iPad is indeed 44% brighter than the one in the Airin the 1nd generation.

In the video below you can see what the new iPad looks like inside. It is essentially a very slightly modified first Air, which only received a more powerful A9 processor and more RAM. The authors of the video even try to attach a display unit from Airin the 1st generation and everything works as it should (except for the absence Touch ID). But back to the new model's display.
We put the new iPad through more tests: The display on the iPad 5 has ~44% greater luminanceancthan the LCD in the Air 1.

Apple The specifications boast that the new product offers a display that is up to 44% brighter than the first iPad Air. Early reviewers didn't really believe this statement, as the display didn't seem that bright to them. However, iFixit put it through its paces and it seems to be true. Compared to Airin the 2nd generation the display is even brighter. The display of the second Airwas relatively dark (up to 10% compared to Airin 1) because of the anti-reflective layer, which the new iPad does not have.

I'd rather wait for the PRO version when I have to throw the iPad3 away.
I'm also waiting for a new one. iPad Pro, because the previous 9,7" model did not convince me of anything.
I am currently using iPad Air 2 and for me to replace it, it must have a 9-10″ rider with 4 GB of RAM, Touch ID second generation, current CPU and comparable thickness, weight as Air 2. The wish is 3D Touch on the iPad, but logic says "forget it".
I would rather be pleased with a higher brightness iPhone It's not much in the sun.
