Apple Watch Series 2 have been with us for several months now. Slowly but surely, speculation is starting to emerge about what their successor will look like. It has already been reported that not much will change in the third generation – at least in terms of design and overall design of the device. What will change, however, will be the componenty under the hood. With new information came an analyst from Susquehanna Financial Group Christopher Rolland, who learned a few interesting things from his sources in Asia.

The unnamed source is said to come directly from the supply chain, so their information should be "first-hand". However, no one knows whether they are based on the truth. According to these sources, however Apple Watch SeThe ries 3 should have a feature that users have been waiting for since the first smartwatch was introduced. The new generation should have its own wireless data connection.oneactivity over mobile data networks. Series 3 should have a built-in SIM card slot and support all current LTE bands. Apple It is said that it will present the new generation of watches as an ideal combination with new AirSubs.
About the presence of mobile data in Apple Watch se already speculated about the Series 2. However, as it turned out, Apple nothing like that nestihl. It is clear that the implementation of this technology into their watches in Applu work, but it is also clear that this is a significant problem. A data modem can be very energy-intensive, and that with a small battery in Apple Watch it doesn't go very well together. For example Apple they will figure out a way to make the LTE module less power hungry. Similar to how they managed to do it in AirPods with Bluetooth connectivity.

That would be luxury!!
I would be interested in the durability. After all, it will be another radio that is quite demanding.
well, it would definitely not be a reason for me to switch from series 2, because of such bullshit... I would rather have a slightly larger display without frames
I can't imagine a SIM slot while maintaining the size and water resistance. But who knows....
No SIM slot, there was talk of a virtual SIM some time ago. Some SIM SW solution for all supported operators.
Why add a slot when more than one Friday there is talk of canceling SIM cards? It's time to revolutionize those cards, it's a waste. Isn't it easier to log into your "account" from the operator? According to me, SIM v Apple Watch there is no point in adding a slot when we go the route of removing everything wired and physical (such as 3,5mm jack)?
What better to do with the battery...
The idea that just Apple, the initiator and operator of eSIM will make a SIM hole in the Watch is not even ridiculous. Use the editor while working your brain :-(
