Nový iOS 10.3 is the first system ever since Applu, which brings full support for the new Apple File System (APFS). The Apple introduced last June at WWC, where he stated that APFS would be available to all systems (iOS, watchOS, tvOS and macOS). Back in the summer, APFS appeared in one beta version of macOS Sierra, but later Apple removed due to some problem. Nakonec surprised everyone by adding it straight to iOS – the most widespread system since Appyou.
If you are already on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch installed iOS 10.3, you may have noticed that you have freed up a few hundred megabytes to a few gigabytes of storage. This is one of the big advantages that APFS brings. But it is not the only one. Let's see what other new features APFS brings to us, ordinary users.

APFS is optimized for Flash/SSD drives and is also compatible with traditional HDDs. The unique copy-on-write system aims to maxoptimize the performance of these disks and ensure reliability when reading and writing data. This will make working with files and therefore the system itself faster for us users.
Apple File System introduces a new automatic save called Safe-Save, which saves data at the volume and directory level. Atomic Safe-Save prevents a corrupted file from being saved. It always saves either all data, volumes, and directories for the data, or nothing at all. This eliminates the risk of saving a corrupted file.

Safety and security. These two words were instrumental in the design of APFS. Apple offers complete encryption of all data from iOS 4. But while OS X encrypts the entire disk, iOS encrypts individual files individually, and each file has its own encryption key. APFS goes even further, combining both of these features into a single model that encrypts file metadata. APFS natively supports encryption, and users can choose from one of the following encryption models: no encryption, single encryption key, or multi-key with individual file encryption and separate encryption for metadata and the entire disk. However, the models will only be available on macOS, on iOS all data is automatically encrypted in the highest possible way.
APFS also has a new copy-on-write file system update system that ensures that the system cannot crash when updating system files. Updates iOS will now be much safer and there will be no risk of iPhone, iPad or iPod touch will no longer wake up after the update and you will need to restore it via DFU mode.
Working with files and therefore the system itself will be for us users.
Hmm, I guess it will. :)
Fixed, thanks :-)
Encryption is great, but unfortunately the weakest link in security will always be a person.
