The application is very simple and easy to use. Once you download and install it, you can use it to transfer all your music, movies, photos, files, contacts and other data from Mac to PC with Windows. The application requires the connection of an external hard drive.
You select the folders you want to transfer to your new device. All the data in the folders will be zipped into a ZIP file that even Surface Book can handle. Although Microsoft states that the application is used to transfer data from a Mac to a Surface Book, you can easily transfer files to another computer with the operating system Windows.
