Apple updated his/heranciWork suite of applications for iOS devices to version 3.1. The applications have gained many new features and improvements.
Pages, a word processing application from Applu, has gained new text formatting options, bookmarks to link document sections, support for equations, support Touch ID for password-protected emails and more.
Changes to Pages:
- formatting text as a superscript or subscript, using ligatures, changing the background color of the text
- added bookmarks to easily link one part of the document to another
- added math equations using LaTeX or MathML notation
- quickly open password-protected documents using Touch ID
- importing and exporting Rich Text Format (RTF) documents
- simple replacement of missing fonts in a document
- new leading lines for better readability of graphs
- custom dates, times and currencies for your language or region
Numbers, a spreadsheet application from Applu, has new options to add new or old stock information to documents, improved editing, a new stock menu that makes common activities easier, support Touch ID and more.
Changes to Numbers:
- easily add current or historical stock information to tables
- using the "My Stocks" template to easily track your portfolio
- new editing options to quickly and easily enter data and formulas
- new action menu for common actions
- quickly open password-protected spreadsheets using Touch ID
- formatting text as a superscript or subscript, using ligatures, changing the background color of the text
- new leading lines for better readability of graphs
- easy replacement of fonts in the table
- you can now cut, copy, paste and duplicate sheets while working on a spreadsheet
- custom dates, times and currencies for your language or region
- editing rich text inside a table cell
Keynote, a presentation creation application from Applu, includes an improved preview feature with slides, presenter notes, and a timer in one view, new options for customizing slide backgrounds, support Touch ID for password-protected documents and more.
Changes to Keynote:
- changing the image template and editing the image background
- rehearsal of the presentation with the current slide, presenter's notes and timer in one view
- quickly open password-protected presentations using Touch ID
- formatting text as superscript and subscript, using ligatures, changing the background color of the text
- easy replacement of fonts in the presentation
- new leading lines for better readability of graphs
- import Keynote 1 presentation
- posting interactive presentations on Medium, WordPress and other websites
- custom dates, times and currencies for your language or region
All three new updates are available for download immediately. Customers who already own iWork applications will get the update for free. Many of these changes have been implemented in the Mac version, where updates are also already available.

Hmm, in Appstore it doesn't offer me Update and when I give Manual Update nothing. The wheel just spins and nothing. Won't it just be for Sierra?
