The first thing you notice about the Klipsch R6 Neckband headphones is undoubtedly the construction, which is quite unconventional, and not only because of this, we decided that we simply have to test them. These are headphones that have the latest technology and can satisfy even the most demanding of us in terms of sound. In addition, as you will find out in a moment, the non-traditional construction brings not only great comfort, but also endurance with which you can reach the limit of eighteen hours. So let's take a closer look at the Klipsch R6 Neckband and see if they're right for you.
Before we look at the construction itself and the gadgets it hides, we are of course also interested in what we get with the headphones. This time, the headphones are hidden in an elegant black foam in the box, which perfectly protects them, so for example, when ordering from an e-shop, you don't have to worry in the slightest about any damage during transport. In addition to the headphones themselves, you will also come across two pouches. One hides a microUSB cable for charging wireless headphones and instructions. In the second, you will find three spare sets of rubber tips so that the headphones fit perfectly in your ears. In addition, one set of tips is on the headphones themselves, so you have four different sizes and styles of tips at your disposal, thanks to which I firmly believe that even those who have problems with keeping the headphones in their ears will be more than satisfied this time. You can really adjust the headphones to fit your ear and you don't have to worry about them falling out or losing quality sound.
The headphone structure itself is made of a skeleton made of galvanically plated black chrome steel, which is wrapped in soft leather in the part where it touches your neck. The structure is incredibly well balanced, so you don't hold its "weight" behind your neck, but it spreads over both the back of your neck and your shoulders, so the headphones don't press anywhere and won't be uncomfortable even after wearing them for a long time. The structure is also very high quality, and apart from metal and leather, you won't see anything else except the high-quality plastic controls. Even if you wear the best Corneliani sweater, which costs five times more than the headphones, they will be a great fashion accessory that really matches your outfit with its quality. As for the controls, you only have one button on the left side to turn on the headphones and a switch on the bottom to turn on/off the vibration. The headphones can start to vibrate behind your neck in a very pleasant way if someone is calling you. On the right side there is a control to lower/raise the volume, play or pause songs and you will also find a microUSB port here.onewhich is protected by a rubber plug. This is used for charging, but honestly you won't use it too often. The headphones are also compatible with iOS battery status monitoring so you can see how much energy is left in their batteries directly on your phone. The quality of the construction is also evidenced by the IPX4 certification, so even if it starts to rain, you don't have to take the headphones off.
The headphones connect to the phone via Bluetooth technology and use its latest version Bluetooth 4.0, which is also available in newer iPhones. Not only because of this, but also because of the pair of batteries integrated into the controls, the battery life when listening is up to an incredible 18 hours. In practice, you can easily get up to 15-16 hours even at higher volumes. So that you don't have to put the headphones down during a call, which they can alert you to with a pleasant vibration in the neck bridge, they are equipped with a microphoneonewith cVc technology, which can enhance your voice while actively suppressing ambient noise. The call is as a result miniAlmost the same quality as a call over iPhone 7 and I dare say even better. Of course, you can answer the call just by pressing the button on the headphones and as soon as you hang up, the music will start playing again where it left off when you answered the call.
The most important thing here is of course the sound quality. At the outset, it should be said that the headphones support A2DP codecs SBC, AAC and aptX, are equipped with 6,5 mm converters from classic R6 plugs and can reduce ambient noise up to 22,6 decibels. In this case, the electrodynamic converter has a double magnet, thanks to which it can cover a wide frequency band and thus all the instruments, tones and voices that make up your favorite music stand out. The sound is very realistic and although there is again the traditional Klipsch sound "timbre" that is typical of each company, the sound is very clean and nothing tries to artificially enhance it. If you listen with the EQ off, you'll hear all the notes exactly as the artists recorded and intended them. The sound has strong, but not unnatural bass, and whether you focus on highs, lows or mids, everything is very well balanced.
Whether I was listening to Marián Varga and his Hommage à JSBach, in which he sticks matches into the keys to hold the notes, or early Roger Watters craziness such as Amused to Death, I couldn't complain in the slightest about the sound. Even the stress test in the form of Slash's Ghost rock went perfectly, and the guitar riffs were so outstanding that you can literally hear which string Slash has his fingers on and where exactly. All you have to do is close your eyes and you are immediately in the studio with him. Due to its price and features such as remote control, high-quality microphone, extreme battery life and comfort compared to wireless headphones, the headphones have a truly unprecedented sound that will satisfy even the most demanding listeners.
If you are looking for headphones that you will really enjoy listening to and at the same time find the unconventional design interesting and do not offend you in any way, then it is definitely worth trying them. I believe that you will not be disappointed in the least and when you think about what materials they are made of, how well they are processed, what kind of sound they have and what gadgets they have, they are actually cheap for the price. If you have the desire and time, definitely give them a try miniI hope you will try it out and I believe that after listening to it you will definitely agree with me and will only agree with the review.

And is it technically different from the classic R6?

Or is it just the R6 plus with Bluetooth?

Because otherwise we already know how much manufacturers charge for wireless and it confirms my suspicion that AirPods are a sound machine, not even for a liter. So they do everything but play. Because the rest of the price is the electronics, the charging case and that it is Apple ?
You've found out something really new. Yes Airpods are wireless Earpods. It's written in every review. Some say the sound quality is better, some say the same. Even if the difference is 10%, it doesn't really matter. Pods aren't bought for the sound quality. (Even so, 90% of people are fine with it.)
For some, it seems too much to pay 4000 CZK extra for futuristic wireless technology that works very well, for some it doesn't.
My tip – look at what the competition offers. The fact is that Airpods are the best and yet the cheapest in their class by tens of dollars:

The price in particular must irritate some people. It is Apple and yet it is the cheapest. That's not possible. The solution is simple, let's compare it with headphones, let's compare it with wired in-ears. It doesn't matter that things like audio synchronization, delay, etc. don't have to be solved with them.
Calling this futuristic technology makes me laugh a lot, wireless servicechatI've been using them for over 5 years. As for Klipsch, I've tried them too - the sound is good, they don't fit in my ears, even the largest ear tips were small for me, very uncomfortable and impractical design. After 3 months they broke and I had to return them, probably a defective piece, that can happen, but for that price I won't forgive how uncomfortable they are to wear. Otherwise, the price for Apple Airpods must really "irritate" people a lot... that's what cracked me up the most. :-D I think most people don't care at all...
Whether you like it or not, completely wireless earbuds or earbuds and earbuds connected by a wire are incredibly different things. You don't have to deal with synchronization, audio delay, pairing not only with your phone, but also with your headphones.onem, but between each other. This problem has been satisfactorily solved at the moment only Apple. In everyone else's review, you'll read about problems with pairing, syncing, audio lag, constant rebooting, and other childhood illnesses.
I am not talking about the impossibility, for example, of the possibility of receiving a call with one earpiece, putting the other in your ear and hiding the first without the other party knowing anything, or the appalling quality of the call.
