Dropbox is one of the most used cloudof storage in the world. However, if you use the app frequently on your device, it can take up a lot of space. This is because it stores cache files to load files faster. Fortunately, Dropbox recently added the ability to clear cache files in version 38.2 to make it easier to get back space. Apps that don't support clearing must otherwise be uninstalled and re-downloaded.

Unfortunately, the application does not support setting a limit for the cache size, so it can happen that the application will take up several GB. Deleting files in the application is a matter of a few seconds and one click. However, it is almost certain that after completion, files will be loaded on cloudslower. However, things you have stored offline in Dropbox will not be affected.

How to in the Dropbox app for iOS clear cache and reclaim space

  1. Launch the Dropbox app.
  2. Click on the Recents panel located in the bottom bar on the far left.
  3. There is a settings button in the upper left corner. Open it.
  4. Scroll down and click the Clear Cache button.

Now all you have to do is select Clear Cache again in the pop-up menu. The app will warn you that some files may take longer to load if you continue.
