The company's newly published patent application Apple shows a portable hardware accessory that contains a computeronenty, necessary to iPhone či iPad dokázal „chovat“ jako plnohodnotný laptop. Patent byl zveřejněný ve čtvrtek americkým patentovým úřadem a ukazuje nápad, který společnost Apple has never fully realized yet.

The patent describes a "thin" accessory — a kind of device that includes traditional "laptop" hardware such as a large display, physical keyboard, GPU, ports, and more — but is unable to function independently. In this case, functionality requires an iPhone or iPad to act as the CPU. Aesthetically Apple designed hardware, similar MacBooku, and mentioned aluminum as the ideal material.
Accessories can take many forms, but the document is largely limited to a body that mimics the shape of a laptop. In some designs, for example, the accessory includes a port into which you can insert iPhone či iPad. Slot, nacházející se v základní části, by mohl rovněž obsahovat komunikační rozhraní a prvek pro přenos energie, jako je Lightning or Smart Connector.

The device could potentially transmit data and commands to accessories via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or another wireless protocol. Memory modules could also serve as expansion options iOS zařízení.
The accessory device could also work as a touch input. For example iPhone, located below the keyboard of this accessory, can serve as a multi-touch touchpad, including Force Touch input and haptic feedback. Coincidentally, the surface of the 5,5-inch iPhone 7 is very similar in size to the enlarged trackpadon the new MacBook Pros.
Since the accessory is technically powered iOS, je jeho vestavěný displej dotykový, což je funkce, která je často požadována u Maců. U některých provedení zase slouží iPad coby obrazovka příslušenství, s klávesnicí, pamětí, GPU a dalšími provozními prvky, umístěnými v základní části.
Considering what attitude the company Apple interest in portable computing, and with this year's advertising campaign promoting the iPad as a laptop replacement, it is highly unlikely that the device mentioned in the patent will be brought to market. The patent application was first filed in September 2016 and is by Brett W. Degner.

didn't Asus have something similar? ever?
I had an Asus Padfone but it was a tablet/phone.
and they didn't have a keyboard? was it just a concept? I'll go google it
That's different again, it's an asus transformer.
quite useless patent :)
It reminds me a lot of this thought :-) https://www.asus.com/us/Phone/ASUS_PadFone_X_US/
I would be interested in how it would be iphone like a CPU cooler :D
Erm, this has been around for a long time ;-) only a couple of years ago we were drooling over it with a friend on alga :-) apple again with a cross after fun :-)
But Asus failed to use the potential? I think that Apple again, this leads to perfection, especially if I'm not mistaken, Asus used 32-bit CPUs Apple I already have a lot of advice on the phoneonech 64-bit. And he'll have to deal with the fact that it's ARM. So yeah ✌️
I hope this never happens
Well gentlemen... Maybe someone already had it, but we all know how it turned out, and what's more... what it worked on. Widle is simply Widle and AppleOSka are just that AppleOS.. You won't screw it up..
Asus probably had something similar a few years ago, and I think apple does it catch on to perfection?
