As we have previously informed you, the application iMessage compared to the popular WhatsAppat or Messengershe didn't know much about it, which Apple v iOS 10 decided to change. The developers thus iMessage added a lot of new features. One of the new features allows developers to create apps directly for iMessages. Thanks to this, we can send stickers, money or play games with our friends. Thanks to a new application called Vidicast, you can live stream video through the aforementioned iMessage.
Live broadcasts are truly moving the world – we can now broadcast live on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Youtube. Now comes the already mentioned Vidicast application. According to experts, Vidicast has really high ambitions, but in my opinion, the pre-installed application and Face Time function can completely replace it. Vidicast does have one advantage though – only you can see the user and he cannot see you. For proper functionality, it is necessary that the other party also has the Vidicast application on their mobile phone. The streaming itself is really high quality and the user on the other side of your stream can comment on your video using a message. The application does not work only via iMessages, but you can send a unique streaming link to almost anyone directly from Vidicast.
However, according to user reviews, the application also has several bugs - one of them is significant image lag and occasional stuttering. Even if you broadcast over Wi-Fi, the video is said to be delayed compared to the audio, but not in every case. You can download the application for free at App Store.
