The number of users visiting websites involved in NetMonitor research exceeded 7 million in February. Websites in the IT servers, mobile and digital technologies category saw the biggest increase. They were visited by 2,8 million real users from classic computers, i.e. by 100 thousand (3,8%) more than in January. The increase in traffic from mobile phones amounted to 5,7% (33 thousand RU) and from tablets 9,5% (36 thousand RU).

Daily traffic from desktop computers reached 3,4 million RU, with these users making a total of 5,1 billion page views on participating websites. In the case of these devices, the traffic of the aforementioned categories of IT technology (3,8%), Auto-moto content (1,8%) and Travel - sales (1,2%) grew the most. Almost the same number of men and women (50,85 and 49,15%) watched the involved websites from a PC, and the most numerous age category was users from the 35-44 age group (23%). The number of users who watched streaming content exceeded 3,7 million and the number of playbacks initiated was 135 million.

The number of mobile phone users reached 3,6 million in February and the number of page views reached almost 1,6 billion. The largest increase in traffic compared to the previous month was recorded in the category E-commerce content (8,7%), magazines focused on women and fashion (6,8%), and interest in websites related to car sales (6,6%). Men are more likely than women to use mobile phones to access the Internet (53%). Users of these devices are also younger than PC users, with the largest group of users aged 25-34. Multimedia content was viewed on mobile phones byonech 1,1 million users who have made almost 15 million initiated plays.

Tablets were used to visit websites by 1,6 million Czech internet users, with the number of page views exceeding 334 million. Daily traffic reached 718 thousand. The highest month-on-month increase in traffic was recorded by the same category as PC – IT technology (9,5%), followed by Economics, financeance, law (5%) and Travel – sales (2,4%). The ratio between men and women using tablets is almost equal, as in the case of classic PCs. The largest age category of users is also the same as in the case of classic computers: 35 – 44 years.
