The latest version of the operating system iOS 10, which Apple released in September of last year, brought countless changes. Even though most of them were related to the Messages application, some also made their way into the Mail application. One of them is the possibility of displaying mail using various filters. Thanks to this, you can, for example, view all unread mail in the currently active mailbox. However, the button for activating the filter is mostly overlooked, so many users do not know about it.

How to in the Mail app iOS 10 show all unread messages in a specific thread

  1. On your own iOS device, launch the Mail app.
  2. Open the mailbox you want tochat view all unread emails.
  3. In the lower left corner there is a button to activate the filter. Click on it.

Unread messages are currently set as the primary filter. However, you can click on the currently active filter at the bottom, which will bring you to the environment for changing it. Here you can also add marked messages to the sorting. In addition, emails can be filtered according to whether they were addressed directly to you or only a copy was sent to you. Finally, there is an option to include only emails with attachments, or only from VIP contacts.
