Apple ID is the account you use to log in to all company services AppleThese include, for example,Cloud, App Store (including purchases made on it), iTunes and other services. Anyone who owns and actively uses a device from the Californian company has created this account at some point. When creating this account, you must enter your valid email address, which will be associated with your Apple ID linked. It may happen that you want to cancel this address and use a different account. This is closely related to changing this address in your settings. Apple IDWithout this step, it would not be possible to change your password or receive invoices from App Store.

However, be careful, as this guide deals with changing the email associated with Apple ID, not with a change Apple ID as such. This would mean you would be using a completely different account. Instead, you will continue to use your old account, only changing the email address.

How to change the email address associated with yours Apple ID

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Go to the page https://appleid.apple.com/.
  3. Sign in with your Apple IDfor which you want to change the email address. If you have two-factor authentication activated, you will also need to enter a code that will be displayed on another device when logging in.
  4. Click the Edit button in the upper right corner.
  5. In the upper part, choose the Change Email Address option.
  6. Enter the address you want to use and click Continue.
  7. After a while, you should receive a verification email to your new address, which will contain the code. Enter it in the box on your account management page and press the Verify button.
  8. Click Done.

After completing the process, you will log in to all services with a new address and the previous one will not work. You may also need to sign in again after changing your address to most services the next time you use them, as the old session will be terminated.
