It all started when Instagram (owned by Facebookem) copied from competitor Snapchatin the Stories feature – a photo or video that disappears after 24 hours. Later Facebook added the same function to Messengerwhere it met with an unfavorable response, and finally to WhatsAppwhich Mark Zuckerberg's company also owns. Now Stories are heading to the official app Facebook.

Facebook started testing Stories in its app of the same name more than a month ago. At that time, however, the new feature was only available to a select group of users, which could of course include some of you. But as of today, they are Facebook Stories available to all users. The information about the expansion of the feature in the official application was confirmed by the Facebook to a foreign magazine TechCrunch, who shared it with the world an hour ago.

Stories appear, similar to Instagram, at the top of the main wall. You can upload photos and videos that disappear after 24 hours. You can also respond to Stories via messages via Messenger.

If you don't have the feature on your wall yet, don't despair. Facebook It is gradually rolling it out to all users, so you may not see it until later in the day.
