Companies Apple, Amazon, Microsoft and Cisco are supporting Google in an ongoing case that addresses security and privacy issues. That is, in topics that are Applu well known (San Bernardino attack). Google is currently facing something similar, facing a court in Pennsylvania where the FBI is requesting the release of emails belonging to suspects in criminal proceedings. These emails are located on foreign servers. Google refuses this call, saying that this order cannot be used for data stored in a foreign country. Apple and other companies are thus warning of a dangerous precedent that could signal to other countries that they may behave in a similar manner.
