The latest numbers from Strategy Analytics show that the Cupertino company's global profit share of smartphones sold has decreased since 2015.onech. Despite a more than ten percent decline, they are still at the top with their iPhones.

Apple in 2015, it earned 92 percent of global profits from all smartphone sales. In 2014, it was 90 percent. The growth in these years was probably driven by the popularity of models iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. However, in 2016, the company lost 12,8 percent, despite iPhone prices being higher. The upcoming iPhone 8 is likely to be priced higher as well.

Second place was taken by Samsung with sales of 8,3 billion dollars and a share of 14,6 percent. Other smartphone manufacturers, despite their upward trend, are barely profitable, according to Strategy Analytics.
