Microsoft at the end of last week through his official blog announced that it is adding support for popular Google apps, namely Calendar and Contacts, to Outlook for Mac. This means that users can sync and track calendar events and changes in contacts across multiple devices.

Outlook for Mac has allowed you to add a Gmail account for a long time, but until now you could only send and receive emails. With the new support, users can add, edit or delete a specific calendar event through Outlook for Mac, with these changes reflected on both iPhone, Android and PC Windows. The same applies to changes in contacts.

Microsoft It also brings other useful features for Mac users, such as Focused Inbox, which intelligently sorts your inbox and prioritizes individual emails. And the next new feature is easier booking of work and personal trips, which are automatically added to your calendar after confirmation.

The update is currently only available to Insider Fast users. Users using the service Office 365 will have to wait a few more weeks for the update.
